Calgary’s Advanced Gutter Cleaning
Frequently Asked Questions…
Q: How often should I clean my eavestroughs?
A: Here in Calgary, the recommended gutter cleaning schedule is twice a year (spring and fall) if your budget allows you to do so. If you can only afford to do it once a year, do it after leaves fall, but before water starts to freeze and breaks eavestroughs and/or downspouts. Remember that it’s cheaper to maintain your eavestroughs than to repair them, so call your favorite gutter cleaning company and schedule their visit.
Q: How long does gutter cleaning take?
A: It depends on different factors. However, in general, with a job assessment at the beginning and quality assurance in the end, it’ll take 0.5 to 1.5 hours for an average house in Calgary. Please keep in mind that we don’t price jobs based on worked hours or linear feet of the length of your gutters. That means whether the job takes 30 minutes, or 3 hours your problem will be solved: clogs and obstructions in your gutters and downspouts will be cleaned and they will be running freely.
Q: What exactly does your ‘No-Blockage warranty’* mean?
A: The ‘No-Blockage warranty’ means that we stand behind our work. We will check and clean your entire rain gutter system (except for underground drains), whether you are present at the property or not. If you think that we missed something, we’ll come back to double-check, no extra charge. We guarantee that your rain gutter system is free of clogs and obstructions once we have finished the cleaning. It will stay like that for the guaranteed time or at least until the next hail, leaf- or snowfall.
Q: Do I need to be home for the cleaning?
A: NO, unless you prefer to. We always ring the doorbell on arrival. However, we will CHECK and CLEAN your entire rain gutter system regardless if anyone answered the door or not. If there are any questions, we’ll call you while at your property. After we finish, you’ll be provided with ‘the after’ pictures. In addition, we offer the No-Blockage warranty* which protects you even after you paid for our services.
Q: Can I pre-schedule gutter cleaning for when leaves go down in the fall?
A: As much as we would like to help, a very rapid fall season in Calgary messes up all the plans usually. A lot of times water starts to freeze before leaves fall. Unfortunately, we can’t clean gutters and downspouts when they have ice in them. In addition, different parts of Calgary have different micro-climates, so leaf-falls vary in time. However, we can pencil you in and will try to time it for you.
Q: What do you do with the debris?
A: Most of the time we bag the debris anyway, and we ALWAYS clean up after we finish. We respect not only your property, but your neighbours too.
Q: Can I clean my eavestroughs by myself.
A: YES, you sure can. It can be done as your Saturday DIY project. However, remember, that cleaning eavestroughs can be hazardous to your health. Ladders can slip when you reach too far sideways to grab debris from a gutter. If you clean gutters while standing on a roof, you can lose your balance and fall. Please have a correct size ladder for the job, so you don’t have to reach far or be in an unbalanced pose. Please use ladder standoffs to keep it stabilized. Amazon.ca or your local hardware store has a lot of different gutter cleaning tools that will make your job much easier.
Q: Do you repair eavestroughs?
A: We repair downspouts, but not the eavestroughs. However, 50% of the time a good clean is all your eavestroughs need, and cleaning is cheaper than repairs, and we offer a free estimate, so there is no risk in asking for a quote.
Q: Can you replace a downspout?
A: YES, we can replace, repair, or extend your existing downspout. We can install additional downspouts too.
Q: Should I clean gutters on my garage?
A: If you care for your garage, then YES.
Just like the rain gutter system on your house, if it’s not checked and cleaned regularly, it doesn’t serve the purpose (which is to discharge rainwater or melting snow from the roof properly so that the water doesn’t damage the structure of the building). In addition, unlike our competitors, we offer a very affordable price for cleaning garage gutters.
Q: Do you clean eavestroughs with a pressure washer or do you use a vacuum?
A: We prefer using a vacuum or a special gutter scoop. We can use a pressure washer as per customer’s request, but we advise against it, as it creates a mess. However, every job is unique, so let’s discuss your house in particular. We have a FREE QUOTE FORM on our website, and it’s available 24/7.

Commercial Eavestrough Cleaning Calgary
Commercial eavestrough cleaning services have become a crucial aspect of property maintenance for businesses and commercial establishments. The city’s diverse weather patterns, ranging from heavy snowfalls to occasional storms, pose a significant challenge for keeping gutters and downpipes clear and functioning optimally. With leaves, debris, and ice buildup being common issues, A-Team professional eavestrough cleaners offer reliable and efficient solutions to prevent potential water damage and flooding. Our dedicated experts utilize specialized equipment and techniques to thoroughly clean and unclog gutters & downspouts, ensuring smooth water flow and proper drainage. By entrusting this essential task to experienced professionals, commercial property owners can safeguard their investments, reduce the risk of structural damage, and maintain the overall curb appeal of their buildings.
Clean them regularly or prepare for costly repairs
A traditional house rain system consists of gutters and downspouts. It’s designed to collect rainwater from the roof and carry it away from the foundation of the home. The house rain system needs to be clear in order to carry out this task. Having an obstruction could cause an overflow of water.
Where would the water go? It will naturally fill up the gutter and eventually overflow onto the walls and foundation of the house – and it won’t stop there! Depending on the amount of water and the condition of the foundation, water could seep into your basement or crawl space. Foundation repair alone could cost upward of $25,000+, and you will be at high risk of mold.
Clogged eavestroughs can also pose a weight strain on your roof and the fascia (the boards behind the gutters). If the gutters are too full, they can collapse causing damage to the shingles of the roof and the exterior of the house.

WE PROVIDE CALGARY WITH CHEMICAL-FREE & ECO-FRIENDLY EAVESTROUGH CLEANING
Chemicals
We always keep health and environmental sustainability in mind. While most of the companies in our city offer harsh chemicals for cleaning and whitening your eavestroughs and unclogging the downspouts, we decided to skip on some profit but help the environment.
Ask yourself: where do all those ugly chemicals go?
They get washed down to the street storm drain system and end up in the Bow and Elbow rivers. The Elbow River, with its Glenmore Reservoir, is a major source of drinking water for the city of Calgary.
Yes, it’s that simple: we end up drinking those chemicals. Some ‘experts’ can talk about ‘how much cleaning our drinking water gets before it goes into our taps’, but they will be surprised by how much chemicals are still left in a glass of water. No wonder that every 3rd or 4th Canadian (Statistics Canada information) will get cancer throughout their life.
The choice is yours.
Sensible Vehicles
We need to transport work equipment from our shop to customers, and from job to job, but that doesn’t mean we need to drive huge monster trucks. Our vehicles are compact pick-ups and vans. They’re very economic on gas.
Soy Based Inks
All of our printed materials: business cards, brochures, work routes, invoices, etc are printed on recycled papers using soy-based inks (no oil-based inks).
3% of the profit from each job goes to The Veterans Food Bank of Calgary
